RPP Bahasa Inggris Reading SMA

Standart Kompetensi : Memahami makna teks fungsional pendek dan esei sederhana ber- bentuk narrative dalam konteks kehidupan sehari-hari.
Kompetensi Dasar :
Merespon makna dalam teks tulis fungsional pendek resmi dan tak resmi secara akurat, lancar dan berterima dalam konteks kehidupan sehari-hari dan untuk mengakses ilmu pengetahuan
Indikator :
  1. Membaca nyaring bermakna wacana ragam tulis yang dibahas dengan ucapan dan intonasi yang benar.
  2. Mengidentifikasi topik dari teks yang dibaca.

Alokasi Waktu : 2 x 45 menit

A.TUJUAN PEMBELAJARAN
Pada akhir pembelajaran siswa dapat:
  1. Menemukan gagasan utama teks yang dibaca.
  2. Menemukan informasi rinci dalam teks yang dibaca.
  3. Menemukan makna kata tertentu dalam teks yang dibaca.
  4. Menemukan ciri kebahasaan teks yang dibaca.





B. MATERI PEMBELAJARAN
Why dogs chase cats
Once, Dog was married to Cat. They were very happy together, but every night when Dog came from work, Cat said she was too sick to make him dinner. Dog was patient with this talk for a while, but he soon got mighty tired of fixing dinner for them both after a hard day’s work. After all, Cat just stayed at home all day long.
One day, Dog told Cat, he was going to work, but instead he hid in the cupboard and watched Cat to see if she really was sick. As soon as Cat though Dog had left, she started playing games with kitten. They laughed and ran about. Cat was not the least bit sick.
Dog jumped out of cupboard. When Cat saw him, she stuck a marble in her cheek and told Dog she had a toothache. Dog got to mad at her, he started chasing her around and around the house.
Dogs have been chasing Cats ever since.

  • Guru meminta siswa mengidentifikasi beberapa pengumuman tertulis di tempat umum secara berkelompok.
